Installation Guide

Choose the Doorbell Installation Location:

  1. Confirm the monitoring field of view (adjustments can be made through the real-time view
    on the app). Please ensure the location is suitable before securing the backplate to the wall.
  2. We recommend installing the doorbell at a height of 1.5 meters, though this may vary depending on the specific conditions of your installation environment.
  3. The doorbell should be installed on non-metallic materials to avoid signal interference. We recommend affixing it to the wall next to the door.

Installation of the Doorbell

Method for Installing the Doorbell Backplate:

  1. First, clean the installation site to ensure it is flat, smooth, and dust-free.
  2. Peel off the red 3M double-sided tape at the bottom of the backplate, align it according to the orientation on the backplate, and attach it to the door or wall.

Note: The adhesive achieves 100% stickiness 24 hours after application.

b.Wall-mounting with screws

  1. Attach the positioning sticker to the wall;
  2. Insert the expansion bolt into the wall at the positioning sticker’s hole position;
  3. Fix the wall backplate with screws.

Note: When the installation angle needs to be inclined, please use the 15-degree mounting bracket.

Doorbell installation Method

When securing the doorbell, first engage the lower latch of the wall backplate onto the doorbell. Then, press on the upper half of the doorbell to automatically engage the upper latch.

Doorbell Removal

Before removal, turn off the tamper alarm in the app. Then, with one hand, insert the removal pin into the disassembly hole with moderate force. Use your other hand to hold and remove the doorbell.

Precautions

  1. Avoid installing the doorbell on metal doors or load-bearing walls. Instead, try to position it in an area with an optimal Wi-Fi signal.
  2. The doorbell contains a battery within its main body. Keep it away from heat and fire sources, and refrain from unauthorized disassembly or repairs. If the product gets wet, stop using it immediately.
  3. Although the doorbell supports power bank charging, it’s best to remove the doorbell and bring it indoors for charging in low-temperature environments.
  4. Use a certified 5V power adapter to charge the doorbell to prevent potential damage.
    (Note: adapter must be purchased separately).
  5. If the doorbell is not in use for extended periods, ensure it’s fully charged at least once every three months.
